getting ready for the new start

i keep telling myself that i have rest long enough, have met up with all the friends i planed to meet, have slept for hours more than normal, if there is anything i feel regret, it would be that i havenot read anything during these days, not even a real article.

to be honest, after such a long vocation, it is hard to focus right away, i'm becoming greedy, and wishing time could goes back so i can enjoy those days again, god knows when can i get another long vocation like this.

i had experienced the first snow this year last night, i was not expected it at all, it was quite unreal to see everything outside covered with white color, winter is officially arriving.

my one-week-off: Friday

i finally got the time to go to the-departmet-of-dermatology this afternoon, this is my first experience of this kind of clinic, the nurses there are really nice, at the end the physician made a prescription for me, i have to put this jel thing on every night for three whole months until my skin get all cured.

for the night, there was a housewarming party held by one of my seniors back at KITECH, lots of co-workers got together this evening, with all the delicious food prepared by his beautiful wife, we spent our best time there.

my one-week-off: Thursday

today is the household-cleaning-day, i spend five whole hours in the kitchen and balcony, and finally the original color of the window and windowsill get their chance to come on stage again after a long time of living under the dust, now the house looks clean than ever.

i was quite exhausted after the whole cleaning thing, so the original plan of going-to-the-departmet-of-dermatology got postponed again... i should be more strict with myself...

my rommie got me those cute cookies from a vendor on her way back, fish shape cookies with red bean filling, yummy~

my one-week-off: Wednesday

woke up by a phone call at 10:37 am, actually i should thank him for calling me, otherwise i would have slept for another two hours...

getting ready to go out, i had my breakfast at 12:30 pm...

then i went to KITECH again, and finally sold out my old lens thanks to 병준선배, so now all i have left is a dslr without lens, a digital camera (which will be the leading role for a while), an instant camera (which is borrowed from my rommie), i'm planing to buy a second hand fixed focus lens, here is what i'm having in my mind: Sigma 30mm F1.4 EX DC HSM, hope it won't take to long to purchase a second-hand-in-good-condition lens.

my one-week-off: Tuesday

it has been an eventful day today,

first, i made the call to solve my last-thing-yet-to-do for my old apartment.

second, i went to the immigration office to re-register my working visa, the procedure went quite favourably compared to my last experience at Daejeon office.

third, i went to KITECH to see the professor, this meeting has been planed for a while, I'm glad that i finally made it today, the time is good and i had the chance to see a lot of friends who i haven't seen for a long time.

fourth, i made those calls that i supposed to make two or three days ago when i first moved back, i have trouble announcing news about myself, i used to postpone those calls as long as i could, until they are not news anymore, but i'm improving on those bad habits.

fifth, i got a call from kihyun last night, telling me that he has came back from China, one month earlier than original plan, part of me worrying that whether he could keep up with his language studying back home, whilst the other part of me just happy that we could hang out very soon. today, as i went to KITECH, i decided that today should be the day for us to get together, it is better than picking another day another time, so tonight, with five friends from KITECH and kihyun and me, we enjoyed our tuesday night in a great deal, one sad thing is that i didn't bring my digital camera, so nothing evidential left except for an instax photo, but this is not important to me, cuz all the valuable memories will be engraved on my mind forever.

today is meaningful to me, not only because that i could cross off lots of stuff from my to-do-list, but also passing throught today, i finally find the old feeling - what life was like nine months ago.

my one-week-off: Monday

Almost everything has settled done after remove, me and my roomie have bought new gas range for cooking, did a bunch of laundry that made the whole house smelled like soap,  prepared a lot of food to full fill the refrigerater, it is starting to feel like a real home.

I did go out for a walk last night, with the wind slightly breezing over my face, I felt everything is so not real right then, have I really moved back? don't need to go back to cheonan any more? is it really the end of my first job? have I moved on? there were a lot of questions around my head during the walk, but not even one answer to these questions got solved at the end, i'm still searching.

Tonight, to celebrate and make an official announcement for our reunion, we decided to cook our favorite food - samgyeopsal at home, it was supper delicious and we had a lot of fun.

move into new apartment

It has been an exhausting day, which include two hous' packing, two hours' moving, four hours' cleaning and unpacking, after all those steps, a lovely home finally comes into sight.
There are lots of reasons why I'm so fond of this new apartment. First, the subway station is right nearby, so I don't have trouble going anywhere. Second, I have a cute roommate, so I don't have to worry about feeling lonely. Third, this new place is on the 14th floor, so there is a great view outside the window. Fourth, I get to eat my favourate dishes all the time since the restaurant is in the neighborhood.... there are still a lot of reasons to list, but I feel like it's not fair for my old apartment, since I haven't say anything good of it, so I decide to stop right here.

tutu

Is tutu an exclusive right for girls age under ten, or does it like brownie, as long as you don't become greedy, any girl can try it on once in a while.

To do a collection

Here is the thing, I have a fever of collecting, I think this begun when I was quite little, ao far as I could remember I have collected tapes, dolls, chessmen, rocks, necklaces, jars... but as contrast to a collector, I'm as well a bad keeper, when I was little, I used to throw things away when I was upset, or suddenly wanted to prove to myself that I have already grow up, then when I actually grew up, I give up my collections every time I move, I keep telling myself that those are the things hold me back, I can always start again on somehting else, so here I am today, with only one collection left besides me, which are some shells I brought back every time I went to a beach, I really hope that I could keep them forever. As for now, I'm gonna move into a new place again, a place that I hope I could stay for a long time, long enough for me to start new collection, to start decorating, to feel like a home.

pleasant surprise

In order to get ready for the laborious packing tonight, I decided to order takeout instead of cooking at home, also a good excuse to avoid buying anything for the refrigerator, tonight is yummy Chinese food.

as I start to pack tonight, some old drawings came into sight, they were drawed about two years ago, and I had unconsciously kept them well, can't help myself to paste them here...lol...

new shoes arrive

After two whole weeks' waiting, my flat shoes finally arrived today.
I can't wait to open it, the cute bunny poped out.
I like the shoes box a lot, it is designed as a drawer.
finally, the flat shoes make their first appearence
Little pink bunny on the side.

snacks I like

Among all kinds of snacks, yoghourt is my definitely favorite one, there are tons of yoghourt with different flavors in stores, I still haven't managed to try out all of them, especially since I bought my own yoghourt-making-machine, I found out that homemade yoghourt is more yummy, and I can always max them with different fruit jam, which is a quite interesting experiment for me.

peach flavor low-fat yoghourt
 plain yoghourt
 homemade yoghourt with strawberry jam
