I came to know that November 11th is a special day after coming to Korea, it is quite interesting that in Korea they have invented all kinds of holidays, giving people plenty of reasons to celebrate once in a while, like March 3th - Pork Barbecue Day (a perfect reason to get together and have BBQ), March 14th - White Day (here, girls will give their chocolate and candies to their lovers on February 14th, then one month later, it's boys' turn to show their adoration), April 14th - Black day (having some food with black color, like deep-fried noodles with brown sauce)...and so on... this is probably one of the most fantastic things about Korea, I like the idea of having somehting to remind me how rich and colorful life could be, even though there won't be a day off on those days, it is still quite amazing to see people preparing for it, buying all kinds of cookies, giving them to their single friends, as a gift to cheer them up on this day.
