Live in the present - that would be my answer

There are two days in every week that we should not worry about,

two days that should be kept free from fear and apprehension.

One is Yesterday, with its mistakes and cares, its faults and blunders, its aches and pains.

Yesterday has passed, forever beyond our control.

All the money in the world cannot bring back Yesterday.

We cannot undo a single act we performed.

Nor can we erase a single word we said - Yesterday is gone!

The other day we shouldn't worry about is Tomorrow with its impossible adversities, its burdens, its large promise and poor performance.

Tomorrow is beyond our immediate control.

Tomorrow's sun will rise, either in splendor or behind a mask of clouds - but it will rise.

Until it does, we have no stake in Tomorrow, for it is yet unborn.

This leaves only one day - Today.

Any man can fight the battles of just one day;

it is only when you or I add the burdens of those two awful eternities- Yesterday and Tomorrow- that we break down.

It is not the experience of Today that drives man mad - It is remorse or bitterness for something which happened Yesterday, and the dread of what Tomorrow may bring.

Let us, therefore, live One Day at a Time!

Big love to this short essay!! Sometimes, we seem to not be able to see through things even though the principles are extremely obvious, to hear some other voice outside of your own thoughts might be the perfect solution at thoes time, whether it’s from other people’s well-meaning words, an undesigned phone call, or even a song you haven’t heard for years, what really needed is a distraction, a way to pull yourself our of the misery for just one second, then, the flower smells fragrant again, the tree looks verdant again, the world is full of hope again.
“live one day at a time”, this little sentence have made my day. I’m really glad about the decisions I made to keep up my readings. There are so many ways out there to discover beauty and get inspired, I hope this little story could somehow do a little magic to you as it did to me,now, off to bed with a big content smile~
